The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers reveal that Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) will do what he does best and undermine Diane Jenkins-Abbott (Susan Walters) at Jabot. Kyle will have a million excuses for why it’s the right call, but none of them will justify his behavior in Diane’s eyes.

The May 20 episode will bring Diane’s fury over Kyle locking in a new deal.

Although Kyle will act like Diane should be grateful, she’ll feel humiliated since she was waiting for the client while Kyle was busy negotiating over the phone.

Kyle will end up taking some jabs over Diane’s lack of experience in the corporate world and will act like people trust him more.

However, Diane will rush to her own defense and deliver a stern warning.

Y&R spoilers say Diane will give Kyle a direct order from his superior and push him not to finalize the paperwork for this deal.

Kyle will move ahead with finalizing it anyway – and that decision could cost him his job!

If any other employee were behaving this way, you can bet he or she would get the boot.

The only reason Kyle still has a position at all is his family connection to Diane and Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman).

Although Jack has been hoping Diane and Kyle will find their groove at the company, he may soon see that’s not going to happen.

Once Kyle defies Diane’s direct order, that may be the last straw.

That’s especially true if Kyle’s deal turns out to be a total disaster. It’d be nice to see that smug smile wiped off Kyle’s face, so maybe there could be some detail that botches the whole thing.

It seems like Kyle is rushing this deal just to prove he’s more capable than Diane, so it’d be quite the twist if Jabot loses money on it in the end.

Regardless, Diane is going to hit the roof over the finalization and may want Kyle fired over his blatant disobedience.

Jack may back Diane up and agree that Kyle needs to go since he can’t play by the rules.

Since there’s so much tension between Diane and Jack already, he may side with her on this and hope it’ll help fix his marriage!

Our predictions point to some disappointing updates for Kyle, so he may react to his forced departure news and wind up searching for employment elsewhere.
