Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers recap for Wednesday, June 26, reveals that Xander Cook (Paul Telfer) opened up to Sarah Horton (Linsey Godfrey) about his complicated relationship with Victor Kiriakis (John Aniston).

Although Xander felt closer to Victor during the baby-swap drama, he ultimately felt that Victor was just using him to do his dirty work.

Sarah argued that Victor loved Xander deep down, but he struggled over Victor not acknowledging him in the will at all.

Sarah was getting ready to send out wedding invitations and asked if Xander was sure he didn’t want to keep up the search for his mom.

Since this was important to Sarah, Xander thought of one more way they might get some Fiona Cook (Serena Scott Thomas) answers.

Xander called Aunt Maisie and found out Fiona had hit her up for money a few months ago.

Aunt Maisie didn’t have a phone number, but she had an address that Xander ultimately passed along to Sarah.

At the Kiriakis mansion on Wednesday’s Days episode, Bonnie Kiriakis (Judi Evans) found out Alex Kiriakis (Robert Scott Wilson) proposed to Theresa Donovan (Emily O’Brien) and expressed concern now that she’d talked to Justin Kiriakis (Wally Kurth) about her.

Bonnie thought Alex could do better, so Theresa overheard and complained about Bonnie’s trash-talking.

Alex trusted Theresa wholeheartedly, but he questioned her strange reaction when Bonnie said Sarah wanted to invite Xander’s mom to their wedding.

Theresa acted like she just didn’t think it was wise to invite random people to town after what happened with Konstantin Meleounis (John Kapelos).

Bonnie suggested it didn’t matter anyway since Sarah couldn’t track Xander’s mom down.

Later, Sarah came to Bonnie for help addressing the wedding invitations and pointed out that she now had an address for Fiona, so Theresa looked unsettled.

At the townhouse on Wednesday’s Days episode, Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall) fished for answers about Brady Black’s (Eric Martsolf) feelings for Theresa, but he felt like they didn’t matter since she chose Alex.

Afterward, Brady found himself lost in thought about his hookup with Theresa until Alex arrived with the news that they were now engaged.

At the hospital on Wednesday’s DOOL show, Dr. Mark Greene (Jonah Robinson) comforted Leo Stark (Greg Rikaart) over his rotten prison visit with Diana Cooper (Judith Chapman).

Once Mark offered a hug and a hanky, he exchanged introductions with Leo. Mark also dropped some hints that left Leo with more questions about his sexuality, but they were interrupted moments later.

After Chanel DiMera (Raven Bowens) suffered worsening cramps, Johnny DiMera (Carson Boatman) and Paulina Price (Jackée Harry) took her to the hospital to get checked out.

Sadly, a quick exam let Mark know that Chanel had suffered a miscarriage, so he broke the devastating news to Chanel and Johnny.

Once Paulina got updates on the sad shocker, Chanel snapped that this was because of what Paulina did and said it was all her fault!

Next on Wednesday’s Days episode, Marlena managed to squeeze in a few minutes with Leo in her office, so he revealed his disastrous visit to Diana and his curiosity regarding Mark.

Soon after, Mark spoke to someone over the phone about his tough day at work. Leo eavesdropped and quizzed Mark about who that was, but he was disappointed when Mark said it was his girlfriend.
