Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers suggest that Faith Newman is returning to the land of Genoa City very soon, as actress Reylynn Caster has been spotted on the soap’s set, and photos were leaked recently. Still, could the storyline Faith is about to jump into, require a friend?

As per a report from Soap Hub, Y&R recently put out a casting call for “Miriam”, a gorgeous, smart 21-something that is “honest” about her opinions.

She sounds like a fiery new character who isn’t afraid to speak her mind! Regardless, it’ll be interesting to see who is cast in the role, and what kind of storyline she’ll dive into.

Also, fans shouldn’t exactly fall in love with the name “Miriam” until the character is cast. More often than not, soaps change the names of characters after casting calls are released. It also adds to the mystery once a character debuts.

As Faith is returning to Genoa City, she may need a gal pal to lean on. Then again, maybe Faith will be a friend to Miriam, depending on the direction of the character’s story. Either way, someone new in Genoa City to stir up the drama is always fun!

Y&R Spoilers – The Last Time Fans Saw Faith Newman

It’s been a hot minute since Y&R fans have seen Faith, and she was last onscreen for the Cameron Kirsten (Linden Ashby) story, where her mom and dad’s former nemesis was released from prison, only to return to GC to terrorize the family.

Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) ended up saving the day, with a small assist from Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow), but after the entire ordeal, Faith was quick to head back to college and leave the trauma she endured in her hometown behind.

It’s been about a year since this all happened. Is Faith doing, okay? Has she moved on from things? Is she still with Moses Winters (Jacob Aaron Gaines)? Fans will have to wait and see.
