It’s no secret anymore that Abigail is likely coming back to Days of Our Lives. Between this week’s spoilers about Chad and Clyde’s confrontation on Thursday, to the weekly preview where the baddie claims “Abigail is alive,” it’s not just a matter of if we’ll see her again, but when! And now, it looks like she won’t be the only member of the Deveraux family coming back — JJ is on his way to Salem too!

More: Sloan’s final farewell?

Just last week, Casey Moss shared some behind-the-scenes clips of a brand new photoshoot on Instagram, looking as fans noted in the comments, as handsome as ever. But when one fan in particular said she missed seeing him on Days of Our Lives, Moss replied, “Thank you! Stay tuned…”

That definitely got our attention, and now, Soap Opera Digest confirms, Moss and JJ are, indeed, coming back to Salem! He’s reportedly been back onset shooting, though there aren’t many details or when or how long he’ll be airing just yet. But our money is that the news coming right on the heels of Abigail’s return isn’t a coincidence. The last time he was home was when we said goodbye to Abigail, so why wouldn’t her brother come home if she shows up alive?

For that matter, while we know Jack and Jennifer will both be back for the show’s 15,000th episode farewell to Doug and Bill Hayes, we wouldn’t be surprised if they showed up as well. We haven’t, though, gotten word on that just yet.

As for JJ, we’re hoping this gives him something to celebrate, as it would be the understatement of the year to say that he’s had a rough time of it in Salem. He left Salem for Africa back in 2020 after learning his grandfather Bill Horton had passed away. And maybe this time he might even stick around for a bit — no matter the last name, we’re always happy for more Hortons in town!
