General Hospital (GH) spoilers and updates for Friday May 31 tease pesky press leaks, new missions and suspicious hospital visits.

Laura Collins (Genie Francis) is upset about a press leak, Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) has a new mission, and John “Jagger” Cates (Adam Harrington) makes a suspicious hospital visit.

Pesky Press Leaks

It looks like Mayor Laura is confronting Deputy Mayor Jordan Ashford (Tanisha Harper) in her office, as she asks “who got this information and leaked it to the press?”

Laura is pretty upset about the information that’s been leaked, but which information might she be talking about-there are several situations in Port Charles.

There is the investigation into Heather Webber’s (Alley Mills) culpability for her crimes since she’s had cobalt poisoning and the investigation into Pikeman Security Group, just for two.

Perhaps someone saw Jordan on one of her casual dates with Brick (Stephen A. Smith) and got it into the gossip column at the Invader. That could certainly impugn the mayor and her staff in the public’s eyes!

A New Mission

At the hospital, Curtis and Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr) will have a new mission to embark on together as Curtis talks to Portia at work.

He thinks there’s got to be something more to this story-might it be the same story Laura’s asking Jordan about?

Portia was pretty angry about the possibility of Heather’s illness excusing some of her more recent crimes since they directly affected her family.

Curtis and Portia obviously are making it their mission to find out the whole truth behind the story!

Harrison Chase Offers Reassurance

Also at GH, Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) offers reassurance to Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) who looks pretty upset.

Elizabeth and Chase’s brother, Dr. Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton) had seemingly worked things out after his sobriety lapse kerfuffle.

Perhaps Elizabeth checked up on Finn and he missed the meeting he was intending to go to-he did show up at Alexis Davis’ (Nancy Lee Grahn) house for support.

Chase appears to be talking about Finn as he asks Elizabeth “don’t you think he merits a little understanding?” Elizabeth is obviously frustrated.

Suspicious Hospital Visits

Who could Jagger be talking to when he appears to be in a hospital room, albeit with no guards in sight! It could also be a doctor’s office, but it still begs the question who he is addressing.

Whoever he’s talking to about his suspicions, he’s saying “you’re playing right into his hands.” If this is Jack Brennan (Charles Mesure) he’s talking to then the situation is very suspicious indeed-are they in cahoots?

Jason Morgan’s Warning

It looks like Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) and Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) might be in Jason’s office at the Corinthos coffee warehouse as Jason gives him a warning.

Sonny’s behavior has been erratic ever since Jason got back into town and Jason was suspicious right away.

Now there’s the situation of Sonny having beaten Dex Heller (Evan Hofer) and Jason pulling him off of him-Sonny had exploded and made death threats to both of them.

Sonny’s started a spiral of trouble for himself in the aftermath of Kristina Corinthos-Davis (Kate Mansi) witnessing the beat-down. Jason is concerned as he tells his friend and one time boss of many years he’s telling him right now, he’s in real trouble!

GH Spoilers: Carly Spencer Meets With Molly Lansing-Davis

Elsewhere, Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) meets with Molly Lansing-Davis (Kristen Vaganos) and has a special request.

She tells Molly, who is the assistant district attorney that what she says stays between them. Is she filing an anonymous whistleblower statement about Sonny Corinthos or possibly Brennan?

Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) already got on Carly’s case about her visits to Brennan. He didn’t tell her anything she could use against him and Molly can’t use confidential information to be kept anonymous, it won’t stand up in court
