Sometimes you think you know everything there is to know about your favorite daytime television star until you realize there’s so much more to learn about them.

One of them happens to be The Bold and the Beautiful star Sean Kanan, who plays Deacon Sharpe on the hit CBS soap.

In April, Sean shared an angry rant online. Sharing a twenty second clip in which a young man slaps an elderly woman across the face at a store, Sean shared his frustrations and thoughts over the matter.

He wrote, “I don’t know about the rest of the civilized world but I’ve had it. This coward is accosting an elderly woman. I hate getting involved in politics but right is right.”

“I would simply and politely ask this gentleman two questions 1) cash or charge regarding how he will pay for his visit to the ER. 2) how does he plan on picking up his shattered teeth with broken fingers.”

In his interview with Soap Opera Digest that same month, Sean was asked about his least favorite vegetable. He answered with, “I would have to say raw broccoli. Cooked broccoli is fine, but not raw.”

In July he opened up about what he really thinks about Deacon. Clearly, Sean likes the guy.

The Bold and the Beautiful Spoilers: What’s Next For Sean Kanan?

When asked about Deacon and his evolution of the years, Sean said, “I think, as happens with most angry young men, a combination of age, wisdom and life experience hopefully manages to wring some of that out of him, and that certainly happened with Deacon.”

“Being loved by Hope has done enormous things for Deacon’s character. I think, for the most part, Deacon has been a fairly honorable guy.”
