The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers update for Tuesday, May 28, reveals that Summer Newman (Allison Lanier) will stick to her plan regarding Claire Grace (Hayley Erin), who’ll be given a chance to spend more time with Harrison Abbott (Redding Munsell).

Now that Summer’s starting to see the value in Claire and Harrison’s bond, she’ll be cautiously optimistic about this arrangement helping Harrison work through his trauma.

If all goes well on the nanny trial period, then Summer will be willing to hire Claire on a more permanent basis.

Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) will think it’s good news that Summer’s coming around and may express hope that she can truly bond with Claire as her cousin someday.

Of course, Claire may have to give Harrison more support once the rest of Genoa City finds out Jordan (Colleen Zenk) is alive.

That could stir up terror for Harrison all over again in the coming episodes, but Claire will do whatever she can to help him.

Next, Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) will face a difficult choice.

It looks like Chelsea will officially decide to take a leave of absence and agree to suggest Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) as her temporary replacement at Marchetti.

This would be an excellent way for Sally to get her foot back in the door of the fashion world, but Chelsea may warn Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) that it’ll be up to Summer to decide if she wants to hire Sally.

However, Y&R spoilers hint that Summer will indeed support the idea later during the week of May 27-31, so Sally should get some positive updates eventually.

Until then, let’s talk about Diane Jenkins-Abbott (Susan Walters) and the worries she’ll be dealing with regarding Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman).

Diane may discover that Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) is fresh out of rehab, so she might offer a prediction about Nikki’s world crashing down again.

It could make Diane fret over Jack coming to Nikki’s rescue and derailing his own sobriety once more.

The Young and the Restless spoilers say Jack will do his best to reassure Diane, but her relapse concerns will leave their marriage on the rocks!
