According to a new interview, Heather Tom said she’s still involved with the daytime soap. She works more behind the scenes as a director.

On Wednesday, May 15, she took to Instagram to tease an upcoming episode. Tom also admitted that she had full-on control of it.

“Pulling double duty. Acting and directing on the same day! What else you got?” she captioned a series of photos.

In the post, she shared shots of herself working alongside Sean Kanan, Katherine Kelly Lang (Brooke Logan), Don Diamont (Bill Spencer Sr.), and Kimberlin Brown.

Heather Tom expressed her gratitude for working this new role. She’s embedded herself in the soap world ever since she made her debut in 1990 as Victoria Newman on The Young and the Restless.

B&B viewers are happy to see that Tom is still part of the show. They would just like to see more of Katie Logan on the forefront. They would like to see her relationship with Carter Walton (Lawrence Saint-Victor) play out on the screen.

A current storyline could destroy their relationship. Brooke and Carter kept Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) in the dark about his son RJ Forrester’s (Joshua Hoffman) situation involving Luna Nozawa (Lisa Yamada) and Zende Forrester Dominguez (Delon De Metz).

He’ll explode once he finds out. This could bring Brooke and Carter closer together, and push Katie out of the picture.

B&B viewers took to Heather Tom’s Instagram post to share their thoughts. Most of them are pleased to see her new role. She’s been working behind the scenes for a while now. However, she shocks fans when she reveals that she directs some of the episodes.
