Hamilton Finn Slips Up on General Hospital

Recently, on GH, Hamilton Finn accidentally made a colossal mistake at his brother’s wedding. He got caught up in the joyous celebration and toasted with Carmine Cerullo. But without realizing it, he accidentally drank champagne.

Now, fans know that Finn doesn’t drink because of his struggles with drug addiction years ago. He avoids all drugs and alcohol to keep himself on the right path. But his little slip-up may trigger a relapse soon especially because the Chase family is in for a tragedy. Finn’s dad, Gregory Chase, is slowly dying of ALS.

However, General Hospital spoilers predict Gregory may die tragically before the disease takes its toll on him. This week, it looks like something goes down at the “ChaLynn” reception and it likely involves the mob. Someone is in grave danger and it could very well be Gregory.

Tragedy Strikes Soon on GH

Coming up, this week on General Hospital, danger lurks at Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) and Brook Lynn Quartermaine‘s (Amanda Setton) reception. In the promo video for this week, a doctor is saying someone is losing a lot of blood.

So, someone’s life is hanging in the balance and it’s likely from a gunshot wound. Violence is almost inevitable at the wedding because of Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard). Currently, the mob boss is in the midst of a bipolar spiral on General Hospital.

Plus, two of his enemies are also at the reception — Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) and Dex Heller (Evan Hofer). On top of that, Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) plans to kill Sonny and set Jason up to take the fall.

So, it could either be Sonny or Valentin’s men who open fire at the Metro Court reception. And it’s likely that Hamilton Finn’s (Michael Easton) father, Gregory Chase (Gregory Harrison), is caught in the crossfire. Perhaps, he takes a bullet saving someone’s life.

Indeed, there’s a good chance Gregory’s life will be cut short so he doesn’t die a slow and painful death from his illness. If so, it could send Finn into a downward spiral greater than he ever imagined.

General Hospital Predictions: Finn About to Relapse?

Lately, with all the worrying about Gregory’s health, Finn admits that he’s struggling with his sobriety. So, of course, he’s going to more meetings. Plus, he’s leaning on his good friend, and fellow recovering addict, Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn), for support.

But because he accidentally had champagne at Chase’s wedding, it ruined his sobriety. Now, it could make him want something stronger. So he could end up going back to drugs especially when Gregory dies on General Hospital.

And it will be even worse if Gregory is murdered in a violent mob shooting. No doubt, it could be too much for him to handle and he may rely on pills to get him through it. Even if Gregory’s not the one whose life is in danger this week, the ALS may progress soon.

He could lose his ability to function and that could cause Finn to relapse, especially because he’s just had a taste of alcohol. With all the stress he’s under, that may be all it takes to push him off the wagon on General Hospital.
