Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers indicate that the show has lost many stars in the last year. Recently, one of the daytime drama’s vets announced they are leaving the show and the world of soaps. Here is what we know about the rumored exit.

Days Of Our Lives Spoilers – Cast Changes Have Plagued The Show Recently

Days Of Our Lives spoilers reveal that the soap has gone through a lot of changes in the past few years. Days of Our Lives was on NBC for 65 years before moving strictly to Peacock in 2022.

This was a bold move but no one a sure how this would play out. However, fans seem to have followed and the show is doing well.

Fans will be glad to know that the show has been renewed through 2025 currently. Unfortunately, a backstage scandal that involved ex-co-executive producer Albert Alarr, shook the show to its core in 2023.

Fan favorite Arianne Zucker filed a lawsuit earlier this year that stems from this very issue alleging sexual harassment. Arianne has recently left the show.

DOOL Spoilers – Casting Changes Shake Days To The Core

Arianne was just one of several actors to leave the show. Several characters have already left including Belle Black (Martha Madison), Shawn Brady (Brandon Beemer), Chloe Lane (Nadia Bjorlin), just to name a few.

Now several stars are returning for Doug Williams (Bill Hayes) memorial service later this year.

Unfortunately, Bo Brady (Peter Reckell) is character who is not coming back although Hope Williams (Kristian Alfonso) is returning.

However, the powers that be haven’t bothered to address this issue. However, fans want Bo back and are not happy that he isn’t going to be around for his former father in law’s funeral.

Days of Our Lives Spoilers – What DOOL Star May Have Quit The Show?

After all of the other drama that has happened in the past years, it seems that a vet has quit the show and walked away from soaps.

Dazed & Confused, another soap blog, shared a screenshot of an interview that long time soapster, Thaao Penghlis, did when a media outlet recently, that came as a shock to everyone.

Thaao has starred on Days for 40 years off and on and Tony Dimera and Andre Dimera as well. However, Days isn’t the only soap he has been on. Penghlis also started on General Hospital as Victor Cassadine as well.

Penghlis said he was leaving Days of Our Lives and that soap world. Penghlis doesn’t say he is leaving acting but the “soap” world. “There are changes happening that I can’t discuss right now.” Thaao also added, “When people start taking you for granted, you change.”
