Jack Abbott’s Martyr Punishment

Y&R spoilers for Monday, May 6 reveal that Jack will go home after his wild night with Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott). Since Jack never came home the night before, Diane will be really worried. In fact, the whole family is worried about Jack.

As Jack collapsed from pills and booze in Nikki’s hotel room, Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) was leaving messages at bars for his father. Expect Jack to face severe consequences for his actions.

Diane Jenkins-Abbott’s Crackdown

On Monday, May 6, Diane will explode over Jack putting his sobriety at risk for Nikki. Now, let’s be real here. Jack didn’t risk his sobriety, he threw it away. Jack can claim he did it to “help” Nikki.

However, addicts are pros at excuses and justifications. The longer that someone in recovery is around someone using – even if they are the strongest people in the world – the harder it is to stay sober.

That is exactly why being someone’s sponsor isn’t a decision to be made lightly. It’s not just about helping them, it’s about keeping yourself safe as well.

Jack has been through so much stress lately with Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson) and Harrison Abbott (Redding Munsell) that a relapse was waiting to happen.

Especially since he kept insisting on putting himself in tempting situations by running to save Nikki every 10 minutes despite his family being in two separate crises at the same time.

Back to the storyline, it doesn’t sound like many people will believe Jack’s justification. Jack might lose his marriage, the trust of his family, and perhaps even his position at Jabot.

Cole Howard Grilled

The Young and the Restless spoilers for Monday, May 6 reveal that Cole will end up getting interrogated.

Victor has a chat with Cole and wants to know if something has changed in his relationship with Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle).

Victor knows that Cole is a good guy and cares about both Victoria and Claire Grace (Hayley Erin). However, Victor might worry that Victoria will get her heart broken.

On Monday, May 6, fans can expect Nate to meet with Audra. In a preview clip, Nate insists that friends tell each other the truth. Nate clearly has a romantic interest in Audra.

Nate might also want to play hero by “saving” Audra from Tucker McCall (Trevor St. John). So, stay tuned for the fallout!
