He asks how it’s going. She’s pretty sure her first day will be her last thanks to Tracy. Cody offers to talk to her, as he thinks Tracy likes him. Sasha says it’s okay, and there was something too good about this to be true, especially getting to be near him every day. He knows sounds crazy, but she could move in with him. She reminds him they’ve only kissed once. Cody says they wouldn’t be sharing a bed, joking unless she wants to. He has an extra cot he can bunk on. Sasha’s timer goes off and says lunch is ready, so Cody rounds up the kids.

Michael heads back to the gatehouse with Amelia. Willow says Aiden is up at the house, as Liz asked her to bring him here as she got stuck at the hospital. Michael puts Amelia down, and Willow looks at the pamphlet Drew gave her on the non-profit. Eventually, she and Michael head to bed.

In their bedroom, Michael brings up the pamphlet she was looking at. Willow says that the job would be a part-time volunteer position, which means she won’t be getting paid. Michael says it’s not like they need the money. Willow says nursing is wonderful and important work, but she’s wondering if she’s doing it for the wrong reasons. She says independence is important to her, and it was a factor in becoming a nurse. She didn’t like the idea of relying on him for money. However, the non-profit would allow her to do something meaningful while being there for the kids. She knows she’s missing moments when she doesn’t have to because of Drew’s opportunity.

Tracy joins Gregory on the patio, and she explains  Olivia is mad at her for insisting they need a cook, and then disagreeing offering the job to Sasha. She doesn’t know if Sasha has the skills for this, so hiring her does no one favors. Gregory says she’s being practical, and the kitchen isn’t a place for family to gather. Tracy says exactly, that’s what the nook is for. However, Gregory sees Olivia’s side of this too.

Gregory Tracy Patio GH

Tracy admits she thinks she’s just mad at time and how much she’s wasted before leaving the safety net of this place with Luke, and that didn’t last long. She knows she’s been given obscene advantages in life, and it’s obscene how little she’s done with them. Gregory thinks achievements are overrated, and their job in life is to love the lives they’ve been given, and the people in them. Tracy doesn’t think she’s succeeded there, either. Gregory says she has time, and not all of them can say that. Suddenly, Cody and the barrage of children head into the kitchen.

Aiden offers to help Sasha serve lunch. She calls him a lifesaver. Cody and the kids arrive, and Sasha serves them. Later, the kids bring some lunch out to Gregory and Tracy on the porch. Wiley wants to take some to his dad, so he and the kids race to the gatehouse. Tracy and Gregory dig in, and Gregory says it’s very delicious. Tracy’s had it before, gateaux salé (a French cake). She had while living abroad in Europe with Luke. It reminds her of the ones she had with him. Gregory would have liked to have met Luke.

Tracy enters, says lunch was superb, and she has the job. She also says no more tests, and she can make whatever she wants for dinner.
