The Young and The Restless (Y&R) spoilers and updates tease “Belle” Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson) and her Parisian psychiatrist friend Alan Laurent’s (Christopher Cousins) mysterious partnership will soon be revealed!

This is the same psychiatrist that Ashley said was a friend of hers in Paris, but from their conversation it looks like they’re pulling a scam!

When Alan and Ashley, as her alter, Belle meet for dinner and drinks at Society, Alan tells her they are friends, just like in Paris-Belle answers yes, but with an agenda!

Their close familiarity seems to hint they may have been friends with benefits back in their day, but at least this time, they’re friends with agendas!

Ashley as Ms. Abbott and Ashley as Ash and now Ashley as Belle haven’t been wanting to go to therapy, as Traci Abbott (Beth Maitland) shockingly found out!

It’s been suspected by Traci that Ashley made up the psychiatrist friend she claimed she went to in Paris.

Now, all of a sudden, he’s materialized, just in time for Ashley, Ms. Abbott, Ash and Belle to get some “intensive therapy”.

YR Spoilers: If You’re Not Makin’ It, Start Fakin’ It?

If you’re not makin’ it, you start fakin’ it, as the old saying goes-and you keep faking until people believe you-it sounds like that might be what Alan and Ashley’s agenda is.

The teenage alter, Ash was “sent away” by Ms. Abbott and she and Belle got into an argument over it. Of course, Ms. Abbott doesn’t want Belle, Ash or Ashley to get any real help.

If she was really getting therapy, Ms. Abbott’s target, Tucker McCall (Trevor St. John) might survive!

If Ashley or Belle or Ms. Abbott or whatever alter she is today doesn’t have a co-conspirator to make Traci and her family believe she’s getting therapy, it’s not going to fly!

The Young And The Restless Spoilers: Belle Tracks Alan Down

Ashley’s alters have likely been manifesting for a while, possibly even before she got back together with Tucker; only much more toned down.

Belle, the southern siren seductress is the one Alan’s talking to when he recognizes their friendship in Paris, and she brings up the “agenda”.

So it stands to reason when Traci, Jack Abbott, (Peter Bergman) Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) and Diane Jenkins Abbott (Susan Walters) staged that intervention, Belle was the one to appear.

Between all of Ashley’s alters, they must control situations and protect Ashley, and pulling in old psychiatrist friend-probably more friend than psychiatrist Alan-in is Belle’s idea.

There’s a very good possibility that this is a way to pretend she’s getting therapy, and Alan’s none the wiser because he only knew Belle!
