When it comes to friends, former General Hospital star Rebecca Budig (ex-Hayden) and Greg Rikaart, who pulls double duty on The Young and the Restless (Kevin) and Days of Our Lives (Leo), are besties, and for the latter’s birthday, the actress had a funny message for him.

“Ugh. Happy Birthday,” Budig began then joked, “To the most annoying person I’ve ever known,” to which Rikaart commented on the photo of him that she posted. “Such happiness in this photo,” he replied. “I didn’t know you yet.”

Fellow daytimers followed suit to wish him the happiest of days on Tuesday, February 26, when the actor turned 47, including General Hospital’s Marc Anthony Samuel (Felix) and Finola Hughes (Anna), who thought Rikaart’s throwback photo was “so cute!”

Last year, Rikaart posted a cute pic with his “lunch date” and shared, “Win some, lose some,” to which Budig comically replied, “I barfed up my lunch after having to look at you for more than five minutes.” Some of their friends, who obviously are used to their back and forth banter, got in on the fun. “Are you sure this isn’t photoshopped?” Elizabeth Hendrickson (Chloe) asked, as Melissa Claire Egan (Chelsea) jumped in to say, “Love these faces!”
