The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers recap for Thursday, March 28, reveals that Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) and Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) will talk a reluctant Connor Newman (Judah Mackey) into giving the residential treatment center in Maryland a try.

Connor will wonder if Chelsea and Adam will make him stay if he doesn’t like it, so they’ll agree to explore other options if it doesn’t help and Connor’s miserable.

That said, Connor will have to give this option some time first, so he’ll seem OK with that in the end.

The facility will only have one bed open, so Adam will point out that it’s best if they leave tonight if possible.

Connor will get Chelsea’s help packing upstairs while Adam updates Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) at the coffeehouse.

At one point, Chelsea will pop back up and admit she’s glad Sally’s back in Adam’s life, especially since he needs her to lean on right now.

Sally will offer to do anything she can to help, so Chelsea will appreciate that.

Adam will worry about alerting Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) and Victor Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) since he’s got things to wrap up at work, but Sally will promise to take care of all that and will urge him to just focus on Connor.

At the Abbott mansion, Diane Jenkins-Abbott (Susan Walters) will confront Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) for changing the presentation of a project she’s spearheading, but he’ll act like he only made some minor changes to help her.

Diane will point out it’s not the first time this kind of thing has happened, so she’ll feel like Kyle is trying to show her up and undermine her authority.

Kyle will eventually apologize for overstepping, but he won’t seem like he means it.

Diane will settle down and hope they can talk through their obvious work issues, but Kyle will take off alone instead.

At the ranch on Thursday’s Y&R episode, Claire Grace (Hayley Erin) and Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) will make plans for lunch at Society, but Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) will appear with some disturbing news about Jordan (Colleen Zenk).

Jordan supposedly had a seizure and is now stable at the hospital, but this alleged medical emergency delayed her transfer to a maximum-security prison.

Claire will immediately suspect Jordan faked it since that’s how she operates, but Victoria still won’t think Jordan can do anything besides stall her transfer.

Once Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) shows up and meets Claire again as Victoria’s daughter, he’ll speak to Nikki privately and will hear what happened with Jordan.

Nikki will second-guess her decision to save Jordan, but Jack won’t think she would’ve been able to live with herself if she didn’t call for help.

Jack will distract Nikki by sharing his concerns about Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson) and getting her advice to stay out of Ashley’s romantic problems.

Later, Jack will head home to Diane, who’ll want his help on how to navigate things with Kyle and all his resentment.

However, Jack will think Diane needs to communicate with Kyle and figure this out between the two of them.

At Society, Kyle will greet Victoria and Claire while they’re at a table together.

Once Victoria steps away for a phone call, Kyle will start quizzing Claire about her background.

Although Kyle will think he’s being smooth about it, Claire will guess someone filled him in on her dangerous past. Now Claire will assume Kyle’s trying to figure out how terrible of a person she really is.

After Claire suggests Kyle doesn’t know the whole story, she’ll advise him to just protect himself and go.

Kyle will offer Claire the chance to tell her side instead since he’s ready to listen.

Back the ranch, Nikki will be jumpy over noises and will ultimately answer the phone.

After Nikki realizes it’s a call from security, she’ll take a message for Victor and react with horror as she learns Jordan escaped from the hospital.
