At Chancellor-Winters, Devon calls Daniel in to talk. He tells him he’ll never be happy about the whole situation with Lily, but he did come clean and he appreciates that. Daniel cares about Lily and didn’t want to make it worse by lying. Devon warns there is no coming back. If he wakes up and thinks he made a mistake, that will be his problem. Daniel doesn’t think that will happen. Devon warns that if it does, he doesn’t even want the thought to enter his mind that Lily might give him a second chance.

Daniel would like to see if they can make this situation less painful and more comfortable for Lily. Devon agrees. Daniel tells Devon none of this would have happened if it didn’t feel right. He didn’t intend to hurt Lily. Devon argues that the reality is that he did. Lily doesn’t need to be reminded at every turn of what he put her through. Daniel will try, but they live in the same building and work together on Omegasphere. “Unless you’re considering dumping it. And me.” Devon says it’s crossed his mind.

At Crimson Lights, Lily and Heather stop in their tracks when they come face-to-face. Heather welcomes Lily home, and Lily reminds her she already said that. Heather says she’s glad that Mattie is doing better. Lily isn’t doing this with her. “I left town, you got what you wanted, so congratulations. I have nothing to say to you.” Heather follows her to the patio and insists it wasn’t premeditated, “I never intended to hurt you.” Lily knows she wasn’t a consideration at all and isn’t buying that it wasn’t pre-meditated. She wanted him back before she even left.

Christine walks into the GCAC and Danny stands up from his table to greet her. They sit, and he asks if she got his message. She says she got his singing voicemail and felt like the luckiest woman on the planet. She muses, “About your proposition?” He asks if she was able to check her schedule. Christine tells him she can clear it, so she would love to go on the tour with him. Danny is stoked.

Christine hopes it will be first-class all the way. Danny argues that she can’t have the full rock ‘n’ roll experience unless they go coach. Christine teases that she has to look at her schedule again. Danny decides that because it’s her, “Only the best.” They kiss, and Christine suggests they skip breakfast and get a room. Danny’s in, and asks her to give him a minute. After he walks away, Christine texts Nina to tell her she can’t meet her after all, but she’ll be happy when she finds out why. Suddenly, Christine looks up and Phyllis is standing there.

Phyllis needles the “Bug” about sitting all alone. Christine thanks her for her concern, but she’s fine. Phyllis tells her, “You inspire me.” She sits down and says, “You don’t have to pretend with me, Cricket.” She wants her to admit she’s as miserable and lonely as she deserves to be. Now that Danny’s going on tour to get away from the both of them, she’s sure Christine will chill out. She’ll probably catch one of his shows, if not all of them. “You’re welcome to follow along on my social media, if you like,” she tells Christine. Just then, Chris gets a text from Danny with a room number. Chris chuckles to Phyllis, “When you’re wrong, you’re really wrong.” With that, she walks off and up the stairs.

At the ranch, Victoria and Claire tell Nikki about her dream. It makes Victoria sad… and angry at the woman who took everything she deserved to have. Nikki asks if the dream was happy. Claire says it was except when Jordan crept in. Victoria says haunting them is the only thing she can do now — her reign of terror is over. They marvel at her poisoning herself right in front of them. Claire can’t help but wonder if things should have ended differently.

Victor joins them and says it he’d known what that woman was up to, he’d never have let them go alone. He knows this has taken a toll on Nikki, who says they just need time. It comes to light that she slept in the guestroom last night. Victor thinks she’s trying to avoid talking to him. Nikki confesses she didn’t feel like talking. Larry told him the story, so what more was there to say? Victor’s unhappy that the three of them faced that homicidal maniac alone.

Victor wouldn’t have minded if that woman had rotted in hell on that basement floor. It’s what she had in mind for him and Nikki. They recap how she drank the poison and Nikki took control. Nikki says, “I couldn’t stoop to her level and let her die right there in front of us.” Victor wants to know why she dialed 9-1-1. Nikki couldn’t live with herself otherwise! Victor was furious when Victor called and told him that she’d been taken to Memorial. He’s going to call and see how she is right now. “Hopefully, not well.”

Claire asks Nikki if she regrets letting Jordan live. Nikki says absolutely not. Death is too easy an out for her. Claire recaps that she burned down the prison last time she was locked up. She’ll never stop until she gets what she wants. Nikki says they’ll have to do whatever it takes to make sure that doesn’t happen.

At Chancellor-Winters, Daniel is taken aback that Devon would make a bad business decision over a personal matter. “Wouldn’t Lily have the final say on this anyway?” Devon says she does, but he doesn’t think seeing him around the office and around where she lives is going to work out in his favor. Devon reminds him they can keep the division and replace him. He will always protect his family over his business. Daniel isn’t trying to hurt Lily; they’ve been through this kind of thing before. Devon recaps that he cheated on her while she was taking care of her child. He couldn’t do anything about Billy coming back, but Daniel’s a different story. He’ll have a conversation with Lily and then Daniel will be the first to know what’s going to happen.

At Crimson Lights, Heather tells Lily that what happened between her and Daniel caught them both by surprise. Lily laughs, “I’m sure it did.” She knows this wouldn’t have happened if Daniel didn’t want it too, and she’s holding him responsible for his choices. Heather is trying to say that she’s really sorry this caused her pain. Daniel is sorry as well. He made it clear they had to keep their distance until he could speak to her in person. Lily’s not concerned with how many times they had sex, the fact that they did it at all is what matters. They talked about their feelings for each other, when they were going to break it to her, and shared it with Lucy and her brother. All of that is enough to change everything.

Heather isn’t sure what else to say. Lily reminds her she didn’t even want to talk to her. She understands what she’s trying to say, but it doesn’t make it hurt any less. This is a double betrayal by both of them. She wanted her friendship with Daniel to last, but friends don’t do what he did to her. “And the same with you. Who was the first person to welcome you back to Genoa City? Who got you a job?” She tells Heather not to talk to her or apologize. “I’m not going to absolve you.” Heather assumes she’s going to fire her. Lily hasn’t decided yet. Lily walks out and runs into Daniel, who asks how she’s doing. Lily says, “I’m great, thanks,” and continues on her way. Daniel and Heather exchange a look.

Christine enters the suite Danny got them at the GCAC, where he has candles lit, music playing, and is holding a single red rose. He hands it to Christine and they kiss. They dance and sway together until they finally make it to the bed. Danny holds the rose between his teeth as he unbuttons Cricket’s blouse and slips it down her shoulders. In the hallway, Phyllis hears the music and listens through the door.

At the ranch, Nikki apologizes for snapping at Claire. The three of them need to be strong and more bonded than ever. Victor reappears and grunts that Jordan is on the mend. She’ll be transferred to a maximum-security prison soon. Nikki thinks if they’d let her die, they’d be just as inhuman and despicable as her. Victor argues she should have died on the cold basement floor, like she planned for them. Nikki would rather she rots in jail thinking about her failure to beat them. Victor asks, “What if she escapes the prison again?!”

Victor decides what’s done is done. Claire will always wish Jordan was gone. She would rather know that she could never have come after them again. Victor couldn’t agree more. He hopes the prison system will keep her behind walls and know what they’re dealing with. “Please remember, when I think something is a bad idea, listen.”

At Crimson Lights, Heather tells Daniel that Lily doesn’t just feel betrayed romantically, but also as his friend. He hopes they’ll come out of it OK, but it’s pretty much up to her. Heather hopes they can… for both of their sakes. Daniel tells Heather she’s not the one who should have to take the fallout. Heather owns her role in it. Lily hired her at Chancellor-Winters, “And this is how I repay her.” She won’t waste any time feeling sorry for herself as she’s not the injured party. They go over Lily being blindsided. Heather thinks she’s starting to process it now and the anger is pretty prevalent. “I don’t think we’ve seen the full extent of her reaction.”

Lily arrives at Chancellor-Winters and Devon asks about her mood. Lily says she ran into Heather. She told her she didn’t want to talk to her but she followed her to tell her how sorry they are and that they didn’t plan it. She didn’t realize how upset she still is until she saw her face. Devon urges her to let it go. Lily asks why she should do that? Devon says it’s not worth her time. Lily has plenty of time. “But I will move on, right? Because that’s what I always do. This really hurts.” Devon will do anything he can to help. “For starters, we can consider shutting down Omegasphere and letting Daniel go so he doesn’t have to be in your orbit every day.”

Lily has thought of letting Daniel go, and Heather too, but it’s immature and unprofessional. Omegasphere is doing great and Heather is a great attorney and they need her there. Devon thinks they need to do whatever it takes to keep Lily focused and happy. Lily thinks happy is a stretch.

At Crimson Lights, Daniel assures Heather that whatever happens next they’ll handle it together. They’re a family again and it’s something they never thought in their wildest dreams was possible. They need to focus on never losing it again.

In their suite at the GCAC, Danny makes love to Christine while Phyllis listens through the door. Eventually, she walks off, but stops when she passes the fire alarm. She walks back and pulls it.

At the ranch, Victoria’s glad that her father has calmed down. Claire doesn’t think he seemed all that calm, but at least the situation is behind them now. Nikki says the whole experience has brought them closer together. Claire says she’s right. That’s something Jordan can never take away from them. Nikki stands and takes Victoria and Claire by the hand. “We truly did beat her.” They share a group hug.

At Memorial, Jordan tells herself to stay calm. “The poison got me out of that room. That was the point. Now, I have to stay in here long enough to figure out my next move.” She jerks the handcuff joining her to the bed rail.
