I kind of felt emotional when she said she never had a father to confide her problems with, but now there’s Bill Spencer, who is surprisingly being supportive to someone who is not his daughter. So why do you think he’s doing that? There must be a reason why the show is featuring Bill and Luna bonding, and how they’ve talked about parents and children in the previous episode. Luna and Bill had an emotional conversation; they both felt like they have parts missing in their lives, so why not have them complete each other?

I’ve already talked about this, so bear with me, for there is a reason why. It’s like the Spencer man had a personality switch, and he now wants to help Luna at any cost. They’ve already pondered the possibility if Bill is Luna’s biological father, but Poppy has made it obvious that it’s not. Poppy was finally honest for a change; she mentioned how there was no chance that Bill was Luna’s father. The timing was perfect, but the truth is something else.

She was surprised as to how Bill was ready to take responsibility only if it had been true. However, Poppy knows for a fact that Bill is not the father, so they can only wish it was true. But wait, they can make it happen, and I do know how. Now that Luna is pushing for a DNA test to find out her father’s identity, why not fake one or change the outcome to prove that Bill is the father? As mentioned before, the timing was close when Poppy got pregnant with Luna, while it seems like Jack Finnean is the father.

Poppy and Bill might agree to do something stupid and change the DNA outcome. If that were to happen, Luna would have a father, Bill would have a daughter, and everyone would have the happily ever after. That way, Poppy would not have to disclose the real identity of her baby daddy. She seems too ashamed to admit that the man is her sister’s ex-husband. Bill and Poppy had a magical night, and it’s easy to imagine that she got pregnant with Luna at that time.

So they’ll just have to prepare a fake DNA outcome as evidence for Luna, and this will be the start of a long-running paternity deception. And that might be the reason why Poppy needs help from Finn; she might as well reveal the identity of Luna’s father and beg him to fake the documents. We know that Finn would never agree to do something so stupid, but there’s Bill; he is a man with money and resources, so he might as well bribe someone at the hospital to break the paternity outcome and get a confirmation saying that he is indeed the father of Luna.
