General Hospital Spoilers – New Writers In Town

General Hospital continues to shake up its daytime soap. The show has looked a lot differently lately.

That’s because the show has undergone many comings and goings with its cast. Most of their actors have left, while others were recast.

As of February 1, 2024, the show hired a new team of writers. GH fans wonder what can fix the broken soap. March will bring in new storylines under Elizabeth Korte and Patrick Mulcahey.

They’re the show’s new head writing team. They already know what direction they want to take the show in, although that hasn’t been revealed yet.

Of course, the fans have their own ideas as well. They would love to see some fan favorites return to the soap.

As GH fans already know, the show loves to bring back characters from the dead. On Monday, March 4, Jason Morgan returned to Port Charles in the highly anticipated episode.

They’re curious to see what Jason has been up to all this time. They also want to know what he knows. They would like to see him return as Jason Quartermaine rather than Jason Morgan.

He struggles to fit in the mob since he wants to be a doctor. It would be interesting to see how Jason fits in with Carly (Laura Wright) and Sonny (Maurice Benard).

GH Spoilers – Heads Back To Mob Storylines?

Some General Hospital fans fear that the show could head back to the mob storylines that took over the show just years ago.

This was brought up on the SoapCentral.com Message Boards. The user Blunt wrote: “Hope new writers do not go to mob stories.”

GH fans took to the thread to share their thoughts. “I actually returned to the show since the slithering episodes ages ago, the day after I heard Jason was returning. I can’t be the only one,” one responded. “If the writers are truly delivering a shocking storyline – then this would be Sonny’s sawn song to usher Mo into retirement,” another user noted.
