The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers reveal that Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) has a problem on his hands – and it involves needing some extra help to care for Harrison Abbott (Kellen Enriquez).

In Y&R’s February 29 episode, Traci Abbott (Beth Maitland) mentioned that Harrison’s nanny had to leave Genoa City unexpectedly to care for her ill mother.

Kyle quickly realized this would be an extended trip, so he determined that a new nanny would be needed.

Of course, there are plenty of loving relatives at the Abbott mansion who can pitch in for a while, so that’ll give Kyle some time to carry out a proper nanny search.

We might see Kyle try out some options and struggle to find the right fit if they can’t connect with Harrison like they should.

Meanwhile, we’ve got Claire Grace (Hayley Erin), who loves children and would no doubt enjoy a career that allows her to work with them.

Claire will be tied up with Jordan’s (Colleen Zenk) takedown scheme for a little bit, but things will calm down for her soon enough.

Although Claire will have to follow all the rules of her release, she’ll be granted more freedom and privileges as time goes on.

Claire will work toward living a normal life and becoming a productive member of society.

It’s easy to see how things might fall into place for Claire to become Harrison’s new nanny eventually. That might be a convenient way for Claire to quickly form a bond with Kyle as well.

Naturally, we have to acknowledge that hiring a woman who just got out of the psych ward is risky, but they’ve already had Claire bonding with Nadia (Coco Nation) like it was no big deal.

Kyle might witness a cute moment between Claire and Harrison that sells him on the idea of her being his perfect nanny match.

Perhaps Summer Newman (Allison Lanier) could object despite the fact that Claire is her newly discovered relative – just for drama’s sake!

Whatever the case, there must be a reason why Kyle suddenly needs a new nanny right when kid-loving Claire is getting out of the hospital.

The writers may be setting the stage for Claire’s nanny takeover and the beginning of her love story with Kyle, too.
