The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for the week of July 8-12 reveal that Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) and Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan) seem poised to return to Genoa City with a major secret.

After Chelsea and Adam finally make it home, they’ll presumably keep the cheating they did in Maryland under wraps.

Adam and Chelsea won’t want to blow up their respective relationships over a one-time blunder, so they should keep their mouths shut.

However, there could be problems if Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) and Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) suspect something’s up.

Will Chelsea and Adam really be able to keep their hot hookup quiet?

Of course, another issue could be the temptation that may keep erupting.

Adam and Chelsea could easily find themselves struggling to fight their growing feelings for each other, so that could bring some other bedroom betrayals as this storyline moves along.

No matter how all this goes down, you can bet that Billy and Sally are destined for heartbreak!

In the meantime, Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) and Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver) will hope to make a big splash at Glissade following the press release announcing their joint leadership.

Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) will have some strategy sessions with Audra and Kyle along the way, so he’ll be able to guide them in the direction of taking vengeful action against Jabot.

Nevertheless, Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) won’t just sit back and let Victor destroy him or the company his family’s worked so hard to create.

We’ll see Jack stay on guard and prepare to strike some fierce blows of his own.

Next, Kyle and Summer Newman’s (Allison Lanier) custody drama could snowball into a bigger deal than either of them anticipated.

Summer may not have a positive reaction once she gets updates on Kyle moving Harrison Abbott (Redding Munsell) out of the Abbott mansion.

Summer might view that as too much upheaval for Harrison when he’s already been through so much.

Then again, Summer might argue that since Kyle is moving out with Harrison anyway, this is the perfect time for Harrison to start staying overnight with her on a regular basis.

Summer might score herself a new place just like Kyle and add to all the tension over where Harrison should live.

Claire Grace (Hayley Erin) could easily get stuck in the middle of the looming custody mess, which has been a big fear for Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle)

Regardless, Claire may keep growing closer to Kyle while Victoria’s concerns grow as well.

Elsewhere, there may be some developments on Sharon Newman’s (Sharon Case) condition since she called her doctor and shared the news that her meds were making her feel odd.

Will Sharon’s doctor put her back on her old bipolar prescription or try something else?

Whatever the case, Sharon may continue to feel out of sorts for a while as she tries to get back on track.

Our Y&R predictions hint that Sharon could cause or at least get tangled up in a dangerous situation as a result, so don’t miss all the stunning moments ahead.
