General Hospital spoilers tease that Michael Easton just completed his last day as Dr. Hamilton Finn.

Viewers have been watching as Finn dealt with the death of his father Gregory Chase (Gregory Harrison) by turning to alcohol. Although Finn’s drug of choice previously wasn’t alcohol, he is an addict.

Friends and family began to worry as Finn’s drinking took control of his life. Things cane to a head when Finn passed out after breaking a glass and cutting his hand. At that moment, his young daughter Violet Finn (Jophielle Love) walked in.

General Hospital Spoilers – Violet Finn Believed Her Father Was Dead!

Violet was terrified that Finn was dead. She managed to call Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot) who called the paramedics and quickly got Violet out of there. She returned and took pictures of Finn and the chaotic scene. Then she told Finn she had a room booked for him at a fancy rehab center.

Then Diane Miller (Carolyn Hennesy) stepped into action by filing temporary custody to Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) and Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) as well as a restraining order to keep Finn far away from Violet until he went to rehab. After a tearful goodbye, Finn left Port Charles to get the help he desperately needs.

GH Spoilers – What’s Next For Violet Finn

With Easton gone permanently from the show, that leaves Violet’s future in question. Of course, while Finn’s in rehab, Violet will be staying at the Quartermaine mansion along with Brook Lynn and Chase.

Finn won’t be in rehab forever, so where does that leave Violet. The answer depends on whether the plan is to keep Violet around or if she too will soon be exiting the show. There are possibilities either way, so lets take a look.

General Hospital Spoilers – Will She Stay Or Will She Go?

If the plan is for Violet to stick around Port Charles indefinitely, that likely means a tragic fate will befall Finn. Perhaps once he completes his stint in rehab, Finn will die in a terrible accident.

That seems like overkill but it would explain why Violet is still around even without her father. But if Violet is leaving as well then she may get her happy ending.

Perhaps Finn shows up offscreen and announces that he is rejoining Doctors Without Border and taking Violet with him. Neither option is perfect but they seem the likeliest of options depending whether she stays or goes.
